Back to his earlier days profession of directing documentary! That is well known director of Kannada cinema Kodlu Ramakrishna! After ‘Mr Duplicate’ Kannada film Kodlu Ramakrishna was not seen around.

Kodlu Ramakrishna documentary is on Apex Bank that has branches in 21 districts of Karnataka. For each district bank he has made three episodes and shot for the documentary for 65 days. In the past Kodlu had directed around 70 to 80 documentaries.

Kodlu Ramakrishna admits that he has got the remuneration of two films directing documentary on Apex Bank – that is titled as ‘Nava Jeevana’.

Of course it is ‘Nava Jeevana’ also for Kodlu Ramakrishna. The film ‘Jugari Cross’ he spent from producer HG Narayan (producer of Kanooru Heggadathi Kannada cinema) is blocked. It is Rs.28 lakhs expenditure. The ‘Jugari Cross’ novel right validity has expired and the house of Poornachandra Tejaswi has given fresh rights to well known director TS Nagabharana.

On knowing that the film ‘Jugari Cross’ has gone to another director, Kodlu Ramakrishna is not unhappy. I have no producers who could invest Rs.2 crores on the project. A few rounds of discussion with century star Shivarajakumar was held in the past remember KR.
